Synthetic Wigs and Blends
Wigs should be washed weekly, or as needed. It is best to wash them at the end of the day and allow them to dry over night. Please ensure you are using professional wig products (shampoo, conditioner and hair sprays), specifically designer for synthetic wigs.
Caution: It is important that you do not expose your wig to extreme heat as it will cause irreparable damage. This includes: the dishwasher, the stove, the oven, the barbeque and/or the fireplace.

- fill basin with cool water
- dissolve one capful of wig shampoo and place your wig in the basin
- swirl your wig and let soak for approximately 5 minutes
- do not rub, twist or wring your wig while washing
- never apply shampoo directly onto the wig
- to rinse run cool water through your wig, from the inside out
- to condition, add wig conditioner to the basin and leave for three minutes or use spray conditioner
- repeat rinsing process until the water is clear
- gently press and towel blot excess water from the wig
- to air dry, place on a cylinder shaped object. Never place wet wig on mannequin or shape that is larger than your head circumference
- never use heat on any type of synthetic wig. This includes no blow dryer, hot rollers, curling iron or flat iron
