The bras you want, in styles that you’ll love

The most common bra that we suggest is seamless, so that even under the lightest top a smooth attractive silhouette is achieved.  We have many different varieties of bras to suit your everyday needs.  Smooth T-shirt bras, light lacy lingerie, or even an under-wire if that was what you have always worn.
Note: under-wire bras are not discouraged by breast surgeons.  Mastectomy bras with under-wire more body friendly and are shaped to allow more room and comfort for your breasts than a traditional underwire bra.

Rebuilding your Lingerie Drawer

Before surgery most women have a wide range of bras to choose from depending on the day and what they are wearing.  You will probably want to build your lingerie drawer back up over and add bras that will allow you to feel comfortable regardless of your outfit or activity.

Some of the many options to choose from. Types of bras available at Compassionate Beauty™

  • Sports bras
  • T-shirt bras
  • Compression bras
  • Bras with extra support for larger breasts
  • Strapless bras
  • Ultra feminine lace bras
  • Front closure bras
  • Lightly padded bras

Breast surgery scars cause concern for many

Many women fear that when they bend down their surgical scar will show. If your scars are a concern for you, we carry line of camisole bras that will provide extra modesty. As you can see in the photos below, the bra has a lacy insert that will not only look pretty, but offer you added confidence (again if there are not going to bra any images then this needs to go).

Caring for your bras

Proper care will prolong the life of your mastectomy bras. We recommend that you hand wash your bras in warm water with mild soap and hang them until completely dry for the best results.  Machine washing or drying your bras is damaging to the elastic fibers and may result in premature stretching which can affect fit.
